About Alison
Alison Graft is a general practitioner providing individual, couples, family and group therapy. Alison has advanced training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and works with a Senior Certified Master Therapist through The Gottman Institute to better her work with couples. Through research-based interventions, Alison will help you break through barriers to achieve greater understanding, connection and intimacy.
Alison provides support to individuals and couples in all stages of their relationships. This can include dating, committed relationships, couples exploring marriage and couples in crisis or feeling stuck. Alison specializes in skill building, increasing connection and conflict management in intimate relationships
Alison is a Gottman Bringing Baby Home Educator and provides researched-based psycho-educational workshops to expectant parents and parents with young children to increase relationship satisfaction during the transition to parenthood.
Alison specializes in the following areas of couples counseling: Pre-marital counseling and couples exploring marriage, adjustment to marriage, transition to parenthood, postpartum depression, couples living with with chronic illness with expertise working with couples facing cancer, infidelity, conflict management, building and rebuilding intimacy, and co-parenting post separation/divorce.
